BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU 🍷

It’s that time of year again! Where we all come together to imbibe the new release of BEAUJOLAIS!

For those of you unfamiliar with this tradition, Beaujolais Nouveau Day is marked in France on the third Thursday of November. Parties are held throughout the country to toast the new arrival of the juicy gamay wine, only weeks after it’s been harvested!

This year we’re collaborating with our dear friends at Uncharted Wines for a day of eating, drinking and swimming.

9am - Meet at Walpole Bay Tidal pool where our Head Chef, Billy Stock will be shucking oysters and Sète’s Natalia Ribbe will be pouring wine alongside Uncharted’s Tim Toovey. If you’re feeling up to it, we’re all going to jump in the sea too! The perfect start to the day.

7pm - a feast at Sète, featuring Coq au vin - using Beaujo obvs - more oysters and a special Beaujolais by the glass takeover in the bar and the dining room.

Walpole session is first come first serve, but if your defo coming please get in touch us so we can have a rough headcount for glassware/oysters/beaujolais.

Dinner - bookings can be made for dinner via Resy or call/dm/email us.
